Special Inspection Services
The International Code Council of Building Officials (ICC) certifies our special inspectors in structural masonry, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, and spray applied fireproofing. Our welding inspectors are ICC certified in structural steel and welding as well as American Welding Society (AWS) certified as required by the California Building Code (CBC) and International Building Code (IBC). Nondestructive testing of welds and weldments are performed by American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), standard TC-1A certified level II operators.

In recent years, we have performed more asphalt mix designs than any other laboratory in California, and we provide all necessary asphaltic concrete tests in our full service, accredited soils and materials laboratory. CGi Technical Services professionals also provide all necessary services for the design and testing for concrete and alternative paving materials.
